I think that government and men did not wanted to allow women to show that they could do the same things and be equal, it was just the ideology that women only had to be at home and did things that characterized a real "woman" as a wife, mother and woman.
I am proud of that women that fought for their rigths and showed all the capacity that women have, just give us more oportunities and more facility to be ourselves in a society that is very competitive.
